I am a member of a team who organise a monthly Oriental/Arabic dance & music show called PlanetEgypt at Darbuka World Music Bar. I discovered my first Khaled track on a compilation CD called World 2000 by Charlie Gillett and became hooked on Rai.
Our event DJ played Ya Rayha one night and I fell in love with Rachid Taha. I attended his concert on April 9 2007 at the Barbican and I was one of the dancers who stormed the stage to dance. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I will turn out to see him every time. Rachid Rocks!!!
